The last nine months have been challenging as we have faced obstacles finding a house manager, insurance issues and finally a lack of residents who were qualified for our program. Although it has not gone according to our plan, God had a greater plan!

 

The Board has decided, through much prayer, counsel and a desire to heed wisdom, that CCTL will be transitioning the Victory House property to Soaring Heights Recovery Homes.  They have been in operation for several years and have all of the required resources to effectively utilize this home for transitional housing. They have been in search of a home to expand their women’s program and this home meets their needs perfectly.  CCTL will be dissolved and all remaining funds will be donated to Be Bold Street Ministries, The Most Excellent Way and Salem Heights Church.

 

We are so thankful that God has used Soaring Heights to provide guidance since the beginning of CCTL and we are so excited that all of the time, energy and resources invested by our donors and volunteers will be utilized for transitional housing for women in need.  God is continuing His work and we are so thankful for His clear guidance.
